Obsolete information... but Im going to the dealer I went to back in 2015 to look at pricing. I told teh sales guy Im not planning to buy, I just want to know my options. When I looked in 2015 I got quoted for a Trail premium w/ KDSS for $37563 +fees. Was that a good deal?

So it sounds like the Premium is the way to go and would make more sense for us. Now I guess I really need to weigh the SR5 vs the Trail/Offroad.

How much does this thing affect gas mileage? I know people report the Tacoma one worked as a passive system and at just cruising there was no negative mpg changes seen.

Honestly I think the seat adjust-ability might be the winner for me. Ive got back issues and the SR5 Premium I test drove was incredible over my Tacoma. Ive never been 100% comfortable in the Taco. Im not sold on the KDSS - would it cause an issue if I lifted it? Only mods Im interested in are...

Your correct. Also looks like you can get KDSS without the Sunroof.
