Well, my attempt did not go well. The wires are much smaller than they appear in the picture. The insulation measures right at 1mm. I'm guessing it's either 28 or 32 gauge wire. I didn't have access to a connection capable of such a fine wire. I'm going to revisit it when I get some micro...
