It's a requirement for off road driving. Stopping distances without ABS is drastically reduced in Sand/Mud. I've done it on all my Tacoma builds but still trying to figure out how to install an interrupt switch for the New 4Runners. ABS is Dangerous and frightening at speed in sand trails.

Mounting a longer shock in the stock location can be tricky!! Longer shock means longer body and lowering the bump stops. This reduces up travel and makes the rear end buck when bottoming out. The Bilstein 5160 has the shortest body and longest travel of any shock that fits in stock location...

Yes the Tacoma Bottle has to sit on the fender directly so will require trimming of that tray.

Very very expensive and still has to be modified.

Send me some specific info so I can have a look and maybe try. We have eaten up SS uniballs on Chaos arms also. The mud is very abrasive and dry lube is washed off very quickly. There is nothing as annoying as a rattling squeaking suspension. If there is something better I am willing to try.

I have those Arms on my truck and hammer the suspension pretty well. Uniballs in Guyana do not last. Within 3 months we have had to change them due to terrible squeaking and rattle noise!!. The dirt and mud takes a terrible toll on uniballs.. Frequently greased balljoints dont have any issues...
