Toyota updated the exterior of the 4th gen 4Runner in 2006. The v8 was also super rare among 2006-2009 4Runners because of the crazy gas prices.

Can you please explain to me the appeal of the Subaru Crosstrek? To me it's just a really expensive Impreza with a lifted suspension and some rugged-looking body cladding. For $3k more you can get a Forester Premium or even a base model Outback, both are much better cars imo.

Buy a beater Subaru Forester/Legacy/Outback and drive that when it snows. No need to worry about rust or 4WD binding on your TRD Pro.
