When I went to buy an SR5 back in 2017 I had a hard time finding a 3rd row which was on my must-have list. The dealership had 10 SR5s, none of which had the 3rd row. They had to pull one from another lot 200 miles away.

Not at all. The clamps have a rubberized coating that now have some indentations from clamping around the LFD Crossbars but it doesn't impact how well it holds. I've probably driven 6K miles with the box on the roof with no issues at all.

I had the same problem with my 2017 SR5. The top-right area of the touchscreen quit working but would only occasionally respond to being touched. The dealership replaced it with no issue.

I just had to update my post...my Thule is the Motion XT L and not the Force. Similar box. Yep, it sure works great for my needs.

Force XT L I run the Thule Motion XT L on the LFD crossbars and it works great. In fact, the reason I even have the LFD crossbars is because I bought the Thule box and the OEM crossbars didn't provide enough height and when loaded down, the front of the box would flex and bang into the 4Runner...

I'm likely going to keep my SR5 wheels which is one of the main reasons I'll probably just stick with the 265s. I commute 40+ miles round trip 4x/week and I rarely leave the pavement. But dang, do I like the look of 285s.

Interested to hear if you have any rubbing issues. I have that exact same suspension setup as you and am undecided on 285s/265s.

That's good to hear. I'm considering a set of the 3/4 rails but was worried that those may rust like the crossbars have.

I thought the 3M tape looked a little thin when it arrived and maybe I should have added some more since they shipped extra tape with the grille. Also, maybe it's because the Limited has a different cross-bar than the SR5/Off-Road trucks that it doesn't align with as well. We did suffer some...
