A friend of mine went to Holcomb Valley last weekend and everything was fine, he didn’t camp though. My other buddies booked some campsites up there for the end of May.

That's no problem. Myself and my buddies are all kid friendly (and some have kids). We stayed somewhat close to Afton Canyon. It was pretty windy on that weekend though.

I don’t think Anza Borrego is open at all for camping or anything, their website said it’s not open to vehicular traffic. Mojave I went two weekends ago, no problems there. If you go to Mojave this weekend I might be interested in joining.

It actually wasn't crowded! The largest crowd that we saw there before we went into Sandstone Canyon was about 5 rigs. Other than that a rig or two here and there. When we set up camp it was pretty dang quiet. I wouldn't have minded staying longer.

I went on Saturday and enjoyed it as well! Good turnout and lots of cool stuff to see. Plenty of inspiration as well.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I'll be going to Mojave with some friends on the 29th and camping there for a night. Gonna do some pew pew and explore a little. If you want to join, holler! I'm heading there on Saturday around Noon from Irvine because I have class.
