Exact issue, my fix.
Had the exact issue, it was the pos uhaul add in trailer harness sending 6 volts from turn signal to brake light. The easiest fix was adding a 1ohm resistor in parallel to my brake light. (Takes up extra resistance in the LED bulb) they are at Walmart in the auto bulb...
