    Bilstein 6112 Part Number

I made an error with the 650lb. It should be Z562B00 like you said. Ride was much approved over and more controlled. The 600lbs seemed more soft and mushy like a stock spring but lifted. I have about 2.7" lift and clips are set at 5 of 6 (5th clip on top) on both sides. I don't have armor...

    Bilstein 6112 Part Number

Hi and I made a mistake. The 650lbs that I got are the Z562B00 like you confirmed with Bilstein. Sorry for the error. I still think there is enough lift for my V8 but it does help. Mike

    Bilstein 6112 Part Number

Hi and update from 3/2: I confirmed at home that the 650lbs that I got for my V8 is E4-FD1-Z005B50. Hope that helps.

    Bilstein 6112 Part Number

Hi and I had the 6112s with the below spring part #s 600lbs E4-FD1-Z005B50 650lbs 53-291387 I need to confirm on actual spring at home but I think it is E4-FD1-Z562B00. I saw that reference for 53-291387 that I ordered. Keep in mind with a V8 I think you will yield 2.75" lift max with the...

    4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

I have both clips set on 5. I'm not paying any attention to driver side lean etc. and i'm happy with the 5 setting overall. Mike

Thanks APV! Actually they are a dark bronze from Fuel Wheels. I didn't like the light bronze from Method or other vendors on Silver so I chose Fuel. Mike

    4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

Hi and I do have the springs if you are interested but they are the lower rated springs at 600lbs for the V6. I updated to the 650lbs. If you give me the part # painted on the spring I can confirm if mine are the same. Mike

Hi and nice sliders as well. What brand are they and are they welded or bolt on? Mike

    4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

No problem. I liked the 6112s for the 2.5 diameter body but didn't realize the lift height was as aggressive as i wanted for my V8. Just didn't want you remove/reassemble to adjust height since it takes about an hour to adjust clips. Didn't want you to go through the pain I went thru. Maybe...

    4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

Hi and nice ride and nice height with OMEs. I don't know if you are trying to lower height or same height as photo. I think you might need to use clip 5 minimum for about 2.5" lift per Bilstein Manual. If you have lowest clip setting it will only raise 1.38". Manual says V8 but I think it is...

    4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

I can't guarantee anything but if you have V6 the max will be 3" per Bilstein spec sheet with 6112 with 600lbs springs. I had to swap my springs to 650lbs to attain 3". Hope that helps you. I added photo of mine with springs changed. Mike

    4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

Just thought i'd let you know my experience with the 6112s. If you are running 6112s with a V8 4th Gen, you might only get 2" lift depending on the spring with the 6112s. I had to swap my springs with the higher rated ones by Bilstein P/N 53-291387 B12 to get close to 3". I think 3" is the max...

Ocotillo / Fish Creek Trip 10/9 Here are some photos of my overnight camping trip in Fish Creek. Funny how the sand makes my bumper paint looks cracked after the ride. It was a fun ride to the Pumpkin Patch and my 6112s worked flawlessly. We were able to hike Slot Canyon as well. Mike

Nice looking ride!! Surfboards in the desert! Better than a roof top tent. I have the 6112s and they worked flawlessly in Ocotillo this weekend! Mike
