    Lefty is coming back!

Very nice just looked it up. Did you use your stock case behind that?

    Lefty is coming back!

So it appears this has never manifested? I'm mostly out of the loop but still on the search for a Lefty tcase. Nothing ever shows up in the MN area used so I've been holding out hope for new stuff.

    Blinker Issue

Just an update. It wasn't any of these issues and I feel kinda dumb. After I got my truck out of storage I took it over to a shop to have a new Elocker actuator and wiring harness installed since my original harness was damaged. The tech doing the install put a tap-a-fuse, for the new harness...

    Blinker Issue

I have not hooked up a trailer to the truck yet to test that specifically. I just drove it from storage and noticed the turn signals do not work. The flashers do work when pressing the button but that’s it.

    Blinker Issue

I know I know there lots of posts and I read all of those before posting this. What I have is a 1999 4runner SR5 4WD. What the problem is. I’m having the same issue other people have had. No blinkers but the hazards work just fine. And what I’ve done to rectify this is I’ve checked the...

Fuel Tank Relocation (and new Rear Bumper design)

I can’t remember who made their filler to work for both tanks. Some people have used those landcruiser ones that you have to donate your kidney for. But I swear someone made their own dual filler neck and it looked good. Dirtco maybe??? I’m not on here as much anymore sorry. I guess read through...

Fuel Tank Relocation (and new Rear Bumper design)

I bought mine from the bronco graveyard can’t believe that aren’t carrying them anymore wtf. They were made in China anyways so I bet someone else has them. I found some dorman ones part # 578-026. They look exactly the same

Fuel Tank Relocation (and new Rear Bumper design)

I cut the OE filler tube just above where it bends so that it was straight then I used 2 90* fuel filler hoses to make the connection to the tank and the OE steel filler neck. In between the hoses I used a fuel filler coupler. Lots of companies make them. The hose I bought was gates brand I...

1999 4runner - How concerned should I be about this rust?

That’s considered clean and rust free where I’m from. Idk check it and see if it was painted over or not

    AT-205 Re-seal

I used the At205 to stop a leak on a rear main seal on my jeep. It worked great. If I have to pull the tired 4.2l out then a v8 is going in. It just bought me a couple more years

    Whiteline bushings

Rust haha. Probably wouldn’t affect you. I was trying to remove the stock bumpstops from my old control arms and no matter what I did they wouldn’t budge so I said F it I’m buying new ones

    Whiteline bushings

If anyone is looking for a set of white line lower control arm bushings I’m selling mine. I planned on using them with the old control arms but ended up buying new arms with Oem rubber bushings installed already. I just haven’t posted them up yet

Replacing rust belt brake lines front end 2000 SR5 4Runner

Before you even stick a flare wrench on it to try to take it off cut the line as close as you can to the nut. Then use a 6 point 10mm deep socket instead. I’ve had much better luck doing that instead of using a wrench. Soak it in pb blaster or whatever your favorite flavor of rust penetrant is...
