Anyone know if the thicker 2006 4Runner windshield glass will fit the 2005? Overall I'm very happy with my 2005, except for the wind noise from the thin windshield glass. I'd be willing to pay to have the dealer swap the glass, if possible.

I have an '05 SE with cloth seats and have this problem too (driver's seat shifts/pops, especially when turning). It's an obvious problem because I can grab and shake the bottom of the seat while standing next to the truck, and there is clearly a rattle, but when doing the same on the front...

The trick is that you have to "toggle" the current setting (to "off") before programming the new setting. Without doing this the new setting won't work, and the computer will just keep the old setting. I think. :mad:

FINALLY got this to work, thanks to this thread. Bobby is right, you have to hold it down for 5 seconds exactly. Now, maybe I count slow, but when I counted to 5, sometimes the system confirmed the reprogramming, other times it didn't. But when I count to 4, it works every time. So maybe it...

Well, of course these styling questions are always very opinionated, but for what it's worth, the 2005 4Runner brochure does not have a single picture of the spoiler. Not a one. Doesn't look like Toyota.com does either. For what it's worth.
