Yep, it's wet... Can't tell if it's oil or coolant though. Any wet spots on the ground? And no the water pump shouldn't make the engine light come on. Unless you are having temp issues.

I think everyone has covered all the possible culprits but I would add one suggestion: If it's an idler or a tensioner I highly recommend all of them while your at it. They aren't much money and you'll have the belts off anyway.

Agreed, most likely the valve cover if the starter is wet. Not much else on that side of the motor to leak. Tightening might slow it down but if the leak is bothering you its probably a good idea just to go ahead and replace the gasket.
