    Oil Leak Blues..

Timing cover leak due to how toyota seals these V6s… generally not enough to need oil between changes but if you don’t wipe it up at every oil change it will build up and then drip somewhere if it doesn’t blow down the underside on the freeways...

Did 2010-2013 4Runners have issues with bigger tires clearing the body mount, too?

Lift has nothing to do with tire clearance to the body mount. Stock wheels without adding spacers can clear the body mount with 285/70R17s with the right alignment at stock height.

    Ironman Foam Cell Pro

I don’t know of a cheaper spanner tool with the correct pin sizes / placement. That -1.75” difference front to rear is smaller than stock, so your nose up relative to stock. My vehicle was 2-3/8 to 2-5/8 (passenger to driver) difference stock measured from center hub to fender, and a little...

Rubbing still after BMC and 285's

UCA manufacturer may be screwing you a bit too, but go try and get some stock rims, swap your tires onto them, and tell us if it is better or worse ;)

Rubbing still after BMC and 285's

Rim offset is hurting you. Do you have any wheel spacers? Those do not help rubbing! Lift also doesn’t help tire fitment, but that’s a different discussion.

    New suspension questions

Take a look through this YT channel: Tinkerer's Adventure - YouTube IMO you want something with rubber bushings, not spherical bearings/rod ends. Do you need springs? Probably not but it depends on what your goals are and how you will achieve them (lift and load).

A-TRAC vs MTS and When To Use Them

MTS = tuneable ATRAC How did OPs write up completely gloss over this?

    Ironman Foam Cell Pro

I may be biased, but I think Tinkerer missed a vital piece of the pie. It is true that cavitation is more likely under low pressure systems. Considering the shock is assembled while full of oil with the only expansion volume remaining being the foam, as soon as the oil heats up, the limited...

Rear brakes wear down before front? 37K miles

Fronts at 90k miles Rears at 50k miles With the fronts having quad pistons and the rears a single, the rears don't need nearly as much fluid to engage than the fronts.

    Talk me out of 255/80R17s??

If I could find a tire I liked in that size with load range C, I would seriously consider it. Acceleration is impacted, but I've baby stepped from stock to stock duratracs load range C, and now 285/70R17 load range C Toyo AT3s. Slight impact each time to get up and go but very manageable where I...

Toyo Open County AT III (AT3)

Mine say made in USA. LT285/79/17 LR C Sidewalk is not nearly as aggressive as a lot of “hybrid” tires. It’s more of an AT tire trying to be a hybrid than an MT tire trying to be a hybrid.

Rock Sliders are the interchangeable across SR5s, Off Roads and TRD Pros

As others have said, the limited rockers and pre2014 face lift SR5s which used the limiteds, were different. KDSS might be an impact on some slider mounts depending upon vendor design.
