2014 4Runner Fog Light HID Conversion

I just did 55 Watt 5000K HID conversion on my 2014 Trail. The stock projectors work great with HID conversions. It is a 1" hole for the grommet, everything else is plug in, no wiring needed. I lifted the front more then the rear (3" front and 2" rear lift) So I adjusted the projectors down a...

    Post your LIFTED pix here!

I'm not spreading miss information, and actually I am not an engineer but I worked at a Toyota dealer for 15 years as a master tech. I posted what my experience has been and the fact fins are rubbing is not going to be an immediate failure.

Not posting for your evaluation, you already stated that your not an expert. Just posting information others may find helpful. Here are the angles of the CVs on my 2007 4Runner with 76,000 miles on it, this has been lifted over 3" in the front since I bought it in 2008 with 20 something thousand...

Actually, the angles look about the same as on my 4th gen that has over 50,000 miles on it lifted 3". I just bought a 2014 Trail and lifted it last week. I will post pictures of the angles tomorrow. The CV boots will rub fins on a stock truck. They are designed to flex and rub. The outer boots...

    Snow plow

Snowplow? I had to dig up this old thread; the snowblower and ATV recommendations are great if you have a 20ft driveway and live in the city. if you live on property with wind and snowfall like I do the snowblower will not cut it and the ATV becomes an all day job. I have 250ft of driveway on...

    3rd Gen 4Runner Lift Information and FAQ's

I don't think anything was installed wrong, I called them and they didn't know how much lift any of their coils give on a 3rd gen. Sounds like the guy on Yotatech was heir guinnea pig? I have read the same thing on their Tacoma lifts, 1.nothing in the front and 2.5" rear.
