HiLex - Thanks man! I am happy with the stance for now, but I will keep that in mind. I have Bilstein 5100s on there which raised the front over 2" and Land Cruiser coils on the rear which raised the rear over 1"...I shoulda taken measurements to be exact. The tires raised it up a bit too...
I was able to get my FN Wheels installed before our camping trip last weekend. The quality of the wheels is great and they fit perfectly. Installation shop was impressed with them...and so was I!!!...I no longer have my T4R so my goal is to make my Sequoia as Anti-SoccerMom as I can. Dealing...
Yes, Dustin was great to work with. I told him you had posted pics on this thread. Mine will be going on a black lifted Sequoia so I'll post pics when I have them installed. Can't wait.
Dougtoms01 and Mireland4390 - Good luck with your installs!
Another quick pic...Went to get an alignment and just so happens that a stock '05 was in the parking lot. I wish I had taken a better side pic showing the difference in the stance, but you can still tell that my truck is much flatter...
I threw on a set of Daystar 1.5" rear spacers on the FJ coils to raise up the back. If you will see the pic I posted earlier in this thread, my 2wd V6 was a little nose high after I installed the 5100s at .85" and a set of FJ coils. What do you think? My dad teases me the truck is playing seesaw...
For the fun of it, I just replaced my belt with a brand new Gates belt and the squeal is totally gone! The other belt I had on there maybe had 4,000 miles or so - but it was an off brand (Drive-Rite from Advance). I guess you get what you pay for. Still glad I changed out the pulleys...the...
Out of the blue I got the "pulley squeal" from the front of the engine in my '03 V6. I just got done swapping out all 4 pulleys with brand new Gates brand pulleys. Still have the squeal and it is annoying. Belt has maybe 4,000 miles on it. Any other ideas what it is?...a/c compressor or water...
Dougtoms01 - Yes, the 5100s with stock springs helped a lot. Truck had 100K on original suspension and was giving me a lot of what I would call "bump-steer"...installed the new 5100s and all that went away. It was much more controlled going over rough pavement and bumps. Adding the FJ coils this...
Installed a set of FJ springs over the Thanksgiving break. Kept the 5100s at the .85" setting and now I am sitting a little high in the front. Probably due to my truck being a V6 and 2wd. Will live with it for a week or so and see if it grows on me - otherwise I will lower the shock setting or...
Here is my Alpine INA-W900 (dvd, nav, bluetooth, usb, ipod, backup camera) with urban runner trim piece. I had the Scosche trim pieces installed originally but didn't like the way the face stuck out. Also running a Kicker 1252xi under the passenger seat bridged mono to a 12" JL Audio sub in the...
