Anyone have pics of toytec 1in front leveling kit for PRO?

I am not familiar with this kit, but I can confirm when a customer calls or emails Toytec with a warranty concern, they will get no response.

Post your pictures of “behind the grille” lightbars

Thanks, i guess should have noticed the year difference. I added the same diode, but also added a second to prevent illumination of the Dash switch on highbeam. Now the switch only lights when turned on manually. I also added a remote switch under hood so that I can defeat the added lights on...

Post your pictures of “behind the grille” lightbars

barryhiram, how did you approach the DRL issue with your high beam activation? I ended up deleting the DRL function as shown in another thread here.

Post your pictures of “behind the grille” lightbars

I suck at following directions, so here is a pic of my 15 SR5P with Rigid flush mount lights. I had to fabricate some brackets to mount them to the grill and more importantly, mount them to the aluminum bumper structure. I also replaced the original fogs with some Rigid amber LED's. They are...

    High Beam Headlight Diagram

Thanks, that is exactly what I needed. Too bad, it looks like this will be slightly harder than I thought.

    High Beam Headlight Diagram

Can anyone provide a High Beam Headlight Diagram for a 2014 SR5P? I am interested in building a headlight wiring harness for my 4Runner that will allow my high beams to also activate my new Rigid LED driving lights. The issue is that the 4Runner uses the high beams at reduced voltage for DRL...

    Check your TRD skidplate

I recently went in for the 20k service and watched in amazement, the tech used a battery powered impact to install the skidplate bolts. When the first one cross threaded and would not go in, he got a new battery and tried some more. Once he got the first bolt tight, he could not get two of the...

List of Customizations That The Dealer Can Program for 2010 T4R

2015 Headlight function Can the headlights be set for ON/OFF with ignition? (Like every other Toyota I have owned.) I have been finding the headlight auto off function to be quite annoying. If I park the vehicle and leave any door open, the headlights will stay on indefinitely.

    4 wheel drive not engaging

I had an issue recently with my 2015 SR5P not going into 4WD. I had been in and out of 4wD several times on patchy snow, then the 4WD indicator just flashed. It looks like it was repeating a fault code, but when I stopped to try to capture the code, it stopped. After that, the system worked...

Who Actually Follows 10,000 mile oil change schedule?

First Oil Change I have a 2015 4Runner SR5P that is not scheduled for an oil change until 10K miles. I replaced the oil and filter at 5500 miles and found the factory oil to be extremely dark and dirty looking. The new oil now has a few hundred miles and is hard to see on the dipstick when...

Wiring help for light bar integration with high beam switch

This can be done easily with a few diodes added to the circuit. Here is how I did it in my Tacoma. The wire shown in blue with note "see page 3" is tied to the high beam (grounding) wire near the headlight.

Let's see your Travel Trailer Combo's

We really like the R-Pod. Ours is a 177 Hood River. The only suggestion I have is make them demonstrate every feature and check it over well for workmanship issues before you take delivery.

What would you change on the 5th gen?

The first mod to my 2015 SR5P was a set of horns from a 1960's Mercedes sedan. These same horns were on my 98 4runner for many years. LOUD Then came: Trans cooler TRD Pro black valences Trailer brake controller Weathertech floor mats and bug deflector. Next: Low Beam Headlight wiring...

Trailer Break Override triggers ABS and VSC dash light

No response yet from Hopkins on this issue. My last email to them went unanswered. I tried to see if my scangauge would recognize any codes. Nope. I may have to get the warning lights and drive straight to the dealer to read codes in hopes that Toyota may do something to correct this.
