Stop Lights on with lights Many years ago, had the same problem. Tail bulb, 1157 broke dimmer filament and it landed on the stop filament. Thus, brake lights with headlights on. Remove both tail bulbs and reinsert one at a time and see what happens. Good luck

Smart key battery Witnessed a demo where the battery was removed from the remote. Obviously the door functions did not work but, holding the remote next to the start button did allow the car to start. Not sure if that message showed. Try it, it may work until you get to the dealer. FYI...
