so I went to a local salvage yard and got the bracket that they said was for a 2nd gen v6 4runner. got one bolt hole to line up and the tension hole to line up but I'm confused as to what the other two holes in the bracket go to. I'm posting a couple pics so that you guys can see. please help me...

Missoula here, just bought my first 4runner, a 91 with a 3.slow. workin out some kinks with the power steering and a bad injector but other than those i like the rig. hoping to get it out on the trails within a couple months.

the bottom half of my 91' 4runner is rhinolined. was done before I bought it. haven't taken it out to see how it does in the woods and what not.

could be a bad injector. have you replaced your spark plugs recently? the other two I don't have a clue about.

ok I guess bracket is the wrong word for it. its the piece of metal that you bolt the pump onto the engine. I"m missing the part on it for the tension bolt. so theres just one bolt holding down my pump.
