This build is nearly identical to what I want mine to look like. Ive got a 2008 SR5 and hoping I can build it up to be as good looking and as capable as this one. Really love the FJ wheels. I'll have to track down a pair of those. Thanks for putting this together.

Do you find that you end up using the trans and transfer case skids on the 5th gen? I'm just trying to figure out if I'm just being overly nervous? Or is it actually prudent to buy the full protection package?

Just bumping this thread. Love this community. Came back from a road trip after recently replacing brake calipers. Was experiencing clunk at full left and full right lock. Greased the steering stops with some bicycle grease. Clunking stopped. We'll see how long that grease lasts. Might have to...

Exactly. Hanging out in the parking lot at Alta and everyone else is sitting on real truck tailgates and I have to whip out a chair. Would be nice to just slide out of my platform. 1.5x the length in the vehicle you think? Currently, the way I have it drawn up in SketchUp is 14" of tailgate...
