Is this a bolt on? or does it need to be welded?

If when you start the truck up in the morning and it blows out white smoke, its the head gasket. Thats a sure fire way to tell.

3.0 torn down, it was unsalvageable. 3.4 in couple days later.

Just a word of advice, I went through the same thing by putting in a new rebuilt 3.0 engine in. The place that did it was known to be good at the time. But later to find out the engine rebuild was shotty and the gasket blew at 30K. I highly recommend doing the 3.4 swap! I am in the process of...
