Think I remember you from the LR site. Your old dII was dark blue, right? I've gone to the 4R too, well for the wife anyway, and am so much happier. These are really durable vehicles.

eagle lakes is just past the hwy 20 junction with 80. west of truckee a ways. i've almost got our 4r ready for some light wheelin. some sliders and a small lift and i'd be down to meet up with you guys.

you're not alone on this. this looks cool to me no matter the vehicle used. reminds me of camel trophy minus the land rovers. wow. so many naysayers on this.

hmm. i just looked. i didn't see a 275 falken and the 285's were pretty heavy compared to the stock 265's. the weight and tread pattern will def make a difference in mpg's.

loss of positive castor will make your vehicle drive like that. even tho i'm a toyota newb, i'm gathering that aftermarket upper control arms will have the ability to give you more adjustment for you castor to get it closer to stock. i'm sure someone here will correct me if i'm wrong.
