I think you could get the components for a real suspension lift for a pretty good price. Look for Bilstein 5100 and Wheelers T1/T13. Check to make sure the 285s will work on the stock wheel. Width might be off?
I agree with Shadytype, check the calipers. I was replaced my calipers on the cheap and easy. My caliper pistons had quite a bit of visible rust on the shafts.
