    Very cool man, VERY cool.

    Winch installed and …

Your call. We went with 700 lb coils with our coilovers because we knew the bumper and winch were coming soon. I’d probably leave it unless it really bugs you.

Front Runner: 2018 bad batch of racks, finish issues

GOOD NEWS UPDATE: After about 2 weeks of silence someone else from FR reached out to me to get the issue resolved. We had a great conversation on the phone and according to FR it was a case of customer service following procedures to the letter and not so much looking at the whole picture or our...

    Toytec Support

Short version, keep calling them on the phone until you get someone and keep following up one the phone until you get the issue resolved. Don't email. We were doing it during the middle of the heat of covid, but we had an issue with one of the sway bar blocks on our BOSS coilovers. I called...

4Runner 5th Gen - Last of the Dinosaurs

Comfort?! With all the lush features that 4Runners come equipped with? Even the Limited interior and tech is worse than a well equipped Hyndai.

    Sleeping mattress material?

Our solution which has worked pretty well is a full size memory foam mattress we cut down to fit the cargo area, basically making the whole back in to a big dog bed. When traveling, we put our totes of gear, cooler, etc. just right on top of the bed (we put an old blanket over it for dirt and...

    Which first, skids or sliders?

We were in a similar boat when starting with mods. We decided RSG angled sliders with top plates for the protection and the utility of having full length roof access (unlike the NFAB steps we had before). No regrets.

    Eibach Pro-truck lift

Well man, thanks for being one of the first consumer guinea pigs I guess. A few thoughts/questions. I guess my big theme is "How/why would a leader in the suspension world send out a product that wasn't ready for prime time?" I have no stake in this other than being a potential future customer...

    Eibach Pro-truck lift

Those look good man! These are in my top couple of choices for a mild lift/level after the added weight of a C4 fab front bumper and a synthetic line 10k winch. Only concern really is the 600 lb spring weight carrying that much weight well vs options that have 600-650-700 lb etc. coil options.

    Eibach Pro-truck lift

ForRun, can you give us the details on pricing and options if you discussed any of that? Seems like earlier Ryan had said they'd be available in different spring weights. I'd like to see some technical info or even a product intro before diving in.

    Eibach Pro-truck lift

That blows Ryan. Appreciate all your efforts in answering questions and keeping us in the loop. Eibach, throw those adjustables up on the website and give Ryan a commission, it's the least you could do. :D

    Destroyed Factory Roof Mounting Locations

I should clarify: we needed to pull it off for other reasons, not due to rust issues. We discovered the rust issues because we removed it. Glad we did. I’ve saved the butyl sealant thread for future use!

    Destroyed Factory Roof Mounting Locations

We had our Frontrunner installed for less than a year and needed to pull it off. The Frontrunner (steel) spacers had started to rust pretty bad and was contacting the roof. I contacted Frontrunner about it with pictures and heard nothing back. Fast forward a few months and I see they now come...
