ok so my 4runner has been a champ no real issues at all the past 2 years ive owned it, until now....i went to start it today and it fires right up,for like a second or two then dies.....i do this several times and eventually it stays on and runs like nothing ever happened....what could this be?

ok so just got back from moveing to indiana from cali...long storry short indy was a drama/toothless women nightmare...lol so i am back in cali....5,000 miles later! car rode like a champ up and back not one problem with a full load! i was averageing about 240-250 miles per tank! and around town...

so in july i am packing up my 4runner getting a small u-haul trailer to fit my junk in and am moveing from san jose,ca to peru,indiana!ive recently replace my whiole front setup,iner/outer tie rods,ball joints...so on....my 4runner has 192,000 miles.....any advice before the trip?

ok first off high octane gas is worthless on a 4runner unless your running a hi performance setup ie larger cylinders/supercharger....ive heard its worse to put it in....stick with 87... you really dont need anything more or less.... try sea foam i swear by it....most feul cleaners are a waste...

i had the same thing a few weeks ago....ran some sea foam in the gass and did a sea foam smoke out and cleared the code....running fine for me cleared the code no problems....its just a dirty cat converter...
