I really appreciate the feedback guys. I can't remember where I saw and read that the coupler is not solid, but I wish I could find it. It shows a solid coupler next to a torsion coupler. Perhaps I just read it wrong.
Superchargers online have both kits. One with a solid coupler and one with a...
Great info in this thread. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
I just bought another 3rd gen 4runner. This one is a 99 and is equipped with the gray trd supercharger. This is my first sc'd t4r, but my 3rd 3rd gen. The previous owner has had it since 06 and when he bought it, the charger was...
I was on the same boat as you. I came from a STi to a 3rd gen 4R.
I ran yoko ice guards in the winter and the STi was capable of anything in up to 6" of snow on the roads.
It's not too often we get more then that at one time, but in the 4R's case, it's obviously much taller and even without...
I figured I'd post up my other car since it has more mods then my 4runner. I plan on modding the 4runner as things break. I don't see a point in replacing what doesn't need replacing.
Anyway, this is my 2000 2.5rs. It looks like hell, but it is quite fun and crushes a lot of unsuspecting people...
hey guys.
i recently picked up a one owner 99 tacoma with 55k original miles. its a standard cab 4 cyl with auto trans and 4x4 with locking front hubs. i got it for dirt cheap at $5500.
i recently took it to the dealer for a frame check and it has a hole in the frame. they will pay me 150% of...
I should have bought a Tacoma for wanting to use my cargo space in my T4R? I'm not sure how that's relevant at all.
I would never go that far to mount a sub under the passenger side seat when I can do nothing to the drivers side seat and mount one under there.
The sub I purchased is pretty...
Yea, that's all fine and dandy, but I think you're missing the point here. The real issue at hand is that my truck is packed full on a day to day basis and there really is NO spare room for even a box of that size in my truck.
That exposed sub wouldn't last a week.
This thread has nothing to do...
