    2006 v8 low/ cycling idle

Mine does the same thing and picks up enough rpms that it will move the truck if I don't have my foot on the brake.

    UCAS do I need them

What does daily driver have to do with it? Do you want factory alignment numbers and handling characteristics or not? You can answer your own question. Install your lift and get it aligned. Math facts should provide a straight answer. No?

Where to get front end aligned near Marietta GA

Thanks guys for the feedback. I ended up going with NTB. They got each wheel in spec and they were great to work with. I was actually 30 minutes late for my appointment so I called and they said no worries get here as soon as you can and they took care of me when I got there.

Where to get front end aligned near Marietta GA

I'm having trouble finding a place near Marietta, GA. to get a front end alignment. Lifted vehicles seem to perplex everyone I have called except 4wheel parts but they want $179 which seems high but I'm having trouble finding anyone not scared away by a "lifted" truck. I used google and called...

    Brakepad and parts replacement help

For rotors I went with Duralast Gold. 3 yr warranty. 20% off online orders and free shipping. UPS ground. I'm close to the distribution center so they were at my door in two days. Fronts (338mm) were $126 to the door.

Surging at idle 05 V8 Limited, help!

I have the exact same issue. Bought it new and it has always done it. Like Inv4drZm said it seems related to A/C compressor running. It picks up enough RPM that I need some brake or it will move. Comes in handy on slight grades though.

This is a picture of the driver side front differential CV axle hole. It's not a very good picture but basically I'm I trying to install a new CV axle and this piece of metal is blocking the hole so the CV will not go in. Looks kind of like a deep well socket but I have no idea.

    CV axle removal help please

OK. Should I wack the axle or the hub. I've actually smacked both pretty hard but I only have a nail hammer. Maybe I need a bigger hammer (my wife says absolutely).

    CV axle removal help please

I'm replacing the front driver side CV axle on my 2005 4runner. The outer axle will not budge from the hub assembly(I think that is what it's called.) Because I couldn't get the axle to slide out I removed the four hub assembly bolts and tried to remove it but it's just pulling the entire CV...

Sienna or Odyssey? Time has come to move from the T4R

We have a Sienna and love it. Tons of space. Makes the 4Runner seem so small. It handles great for a van and feels more like a car than a van. It's powerful and stops well. We actually bought an Accord as the second car and at the time I wanted a van. We eventually replaced the Accord with the...

OME vs Coilovers (Price / Value)

I've only had mine installed for a couple weeks and I'm not a hard core offroader. Mostly light trails, camping, and I tow. With that said, road manners are great and it's more than I need for what I will do offroad but XREAS was shot and needed to be replaced. I haven't even gotten an...
