I can't tell how much of a gap you have, but I do know that there is supposed to be a gap. A gap is left so that the bumper doesn't hit anything while the suspension is flexed. Hope this helps.

The pads are OEM Tundras. I appreciate your suggestion and will give it a go this weekend. Any other suggestions??

Had a highly recommended mechanic install the Tundra brake upgrade a few months ago. Now they are squealing like a school bus. Any suggestions??

my 6 cylinder was sputtering and I changed the plugs. Problem seemed fixed for a few days then back to sputtering for a day and then wouldn't start. It ended up being a clogged injector. Good Luck. Is throwing a CEL?
