I just received my Mangowalk 5" antenna. I was thinking that I could use a brass bolt the same diameter as what screws into the threads on the truck. As it is slightly smaller than the diameter of the threads on the Mangowalk antenna, I could use some sort of metal filler/puttly/epoxy/locktite...

Doesn't that interfere with getting in and out of the seat? I have had someone hold it there while I tried and I bumped it everytime I got in. Someone suggested to me to use Velcro and a quick connector(4 pin) to remove it when I don't need it (which is 95% of the time). Anyone ever tried...
