More Transmission Leaks So my 96 has a bit of a leak from the transmission too - appears to be coming out of this fitting on the passenger side - Anyone had experience with this? Looking for a diagram that shows me the parts view on it.... Matt

Digging up an old thread.... does anyone know what the plate looks like for the swap? I'm having trouble understanding the bending part... maybe makes sense when you open it up and look at it? If I can find the replacement plate, I'd go that route... just don't know what I'm looking for, and...

I will definitely get some pix posted as soon as I'm done. Maybe a stupid question, but what is "Japanese flare"? I'm familiar with bubble, inverted & double.... not sure what "Japanese" flare is.... and do I need 37 pieces of it?

Yes, I am replacing that line and the other line going out of the connection. None of the hard lines were available from the dealer, so i'm going to be building them. Hadn't thought of that coil as a functional thing... guess I will duplicate it in my line. Matt

That is the part, pretty sure. I do think it's just a junction, but I would be afraid to leave it out, and not sure mine is reusable. Just called the dealership... $18 to get it, hopefully they have it tomorrow. Only 12 left in the country. Thanks all for the help!! Matt

Awesome, thanks!! In the front on mine, there is an adapter/joiner that goes at a right angle on the frame - does it serve a purpose? Also NLA from the dealership, and I'm not sure mine is re-usable. I have to assume it does, but it would be a lot easier to just bend the line and have one...

sorry to dig up an old post like this.... Has anyone done this recently? I talked to my local dealership, and they said the hard brake lines were NLA, and recommended I call Napa. They told me to bring 'em in and match 'em up. Anyone have it documented what size brake lines are needed...
