So if you live or spend a lot of time on rural roads. Especially in the Pacific Northwest then this would make sense to me. My guess would be that it gets much better gas mileage than my 4Runner does and this little toy looks like it is HIGHLY capable as long as you aren't needing anything...
So I just did this last weekend and I did the following items.
1) degreased the area a couple of days ahead.
2) used penetrate
3) Removed the CV axle (I was taking apart the knuckle anyway but thinking about it, removing brake caliper, axle nut, disconnecting the 4 LBJ bolts and popping...
If you could get the base measurements from a body shop that owuld be great. I would love to build my own stuff in solidworks without having to build all my on attachment points.
