Took your suggestion and it seemed to work for me.
I had the same problem as you did so I took your suggestion and it seemed to work for me too. It makes sense to start from the front with the engine running as the fluid will be moving through the master cylinder and ABS pump first so if you...
Lubrication of bolt affects the torque value
I agree. I have seen a torque chart (one of the lock-tite companies web sites) that showed the torque with lock-tite applied and without along with an explanation that the lock-tite lubricates the bolt and the torque should be adjusted a little...
I too just started having this problem. Check engine light came on. After filling the tank I drive about 100-200 feet and then it shuts off and doesn't want to start for a minute or two and then starts and runs like nothing happened. I just drove from Atlanta to DC and in South Carolina where...
When you say you have been running the "100 setup" do you mean you are running the 199mm calipers and rotors? Also, are you running the 16" OEM split 3 spoke wheels with the upgraded brakes? Thanks.
I just read a post where the guy compared the 199 pads with the 231 pads and the actual pad size (not including backing plate) was the same for both. The only difference was the size of the backing plate. I postulated then that maybe the only benefit to the 231's is better heat dissipation with...
Interesting observation re the size of the 199 pads and the 231 pads being the same (see post #1138). I would guess the 231mm rotor would dissipate the heat better since it has more area and mass. I have the 16" 3rd Gen split 3 spoke wheels which I don't think will fit with the 231mm upgrade...
I think I already know the answer but, I want to make sure. Do the 16" 3rd Gen Split 3-Spoke Wheels fit the 231MM 13WL Tundra brake upgrade? FYI, the pictures did not work for me either.
Could you describe in detail how you removed the old panhard bar bushings. I was inspired by you experience and will replace my panhard bar bushings with Whiteline this weekend. I have a good idea how I plan to remove the old bushings with the two jaw puller but, I'd like to know more in case...
