Just saw on Facebook today some guy that has 431k on his 05 V6 with no issues. Not sure if he’ll come here to vote on this, but that’s the highest mileage V6 I’ve seen yet.

Agreed, I was curious to see the high mileage 4Runners in general, but as a V6 owner myself, I really wanted to see how many high mileage V6’s are out there and who has the most miles overall. I was hoping to see some more 300K and 400k+. I’m at 228k on original head gaskets on my 05.

RCI makes a bumper filler plate for that spot if you want more protection. I went with the filler plate, front skid and trans skid from RCI myself. Great products.

Yea, I’m at 228k myself. I’ve always said the plan is to see 300k in it. I’ve had it for almost 8 years now, and figure it’ll take another 4-5 years to hit 300. By then it might be time, but who knows, maybe I’ll want to keep it for another 100k if everything’s still good.
