Hey guys, Planning on going to the junkyard this weekend to pick up some new seats for my 98 4runner 2wd Base. I currently have cloth but the driver's side foam is completely deterioriated, the passenger side reclining handle plastic trim is broken, and the backseats don't seem to line up...

Hmm good tip about the room you get when replacing the radiator. I might go ahead and do the radiator swap, the transmission cooler, and the drive belts all at the same time...might take a full weekend for me though lol The power steering grinds when I turn it fully to left or right but it's...

Yeah looks like I'll be doing the tire/wheel swap soon, the tread is pretty bad...hopefully I can pick up some wheels at a junkyard or ebay and then get new tires at Costco. Good to know about the Hayden 678, will keep that in mind when I do the radiator swap! I'm surprised the mechanic didn't...

Yep, I was thinking of doing the radiator first too due to pink milkshake issues...or maybe even getting an external trans cooler while I'm at it since I plan on towing my motorcycle anyways. I asked the mechanic to check LBJs again just to make sure, they were fine! 2.7 is a non-interference...

I'd deff get a separate wifi router(see my post above for recommendations). Was using a motorola surfboard router/modem combo and the wifi speeds were AGONIZINGLY slow lol

Cool looking knobs, but for the 4wd is it easy to tell which you're shifting into? I know it becomes easy with shifting a manual tranny but I wasn't sure about the same with 4wd since I've never used one lol

how hard was installing the transmission cooler? I'm thinking about doing that when I replace my radiator.

12k seems way too high...unless it's a mint condition 4wd Limited, e-locker, 5spd combo 4cyl. which is SUPER super rare. lol

i'm thinking of lifting mine in the future too and didn't realize you needed extended brake lines? How do you determine how much you need? Is too much detrimental to braking? My brake lines need replacing, going to replace with SS
