    Bilstein 6112 spring preload question

I started going over Hooke's Law in my head trying to figure out what I wasn't getting, and then I remembered about the vehicle weight... Spend all these years doing the upper level stuff, sometimes you forget the basics. XD

    Bilstein 6112 spring preload question

From a physics standpoint, having your struts set with a different preload is effectively going to make the more compressed side stiffer than the longer, less compressed side. It's not something I've ever done it practice, but I also wouldn't think that it'd be advisable if having a level ride...

Help. I don't want to buy a Ford

I have a 2017 TRD-OR standard, it has a physical key. Not sure about the newer model years, though.

    "Fake 4Runners?"

It's pretty common knowledge that automakers tend to follow similar design cues for the respective time. They are trying to sell cars to a population with specific tastes, after all. That being said, I don't think the 4Runner looks like anything out now, other than a generic SUV from the side.

285s on rear 265s on front lol ?

If you want horrible understeer and the inability to rotate tires, sure.

    TRD Pro or Venture SE?

Pretty much what I was getting at. The differences between the Venture and ORP are basically cosmetic, so the OP has to ask themselves if cosmetic bits are worth a couple thousand over the same thing without the cosmetic stuff. I personally just get bent out of shape when an automaker raids...

    TRD Pro or Venture SE?

Another thing to consider regarding the Venture Edition: You're paying a couple thousand dollar premium over the TRD-ORP for the Yakima basket, Pro wheels, black valances, and blacked out badging. All of those can be had in the aftermarket for probably less than what you would pay for them...

    Sliders in Stock??`

RSG took around two weeks to manufacture my bare metal DOM sliders, which is accurate to their lead times listed on their site. I placed the order on 3/30 and just got the shipping notification today.

Need some guidance between E load and SL

In the city it's exactly the same as stock tires. On my trip last year (stock tires,) I think I got 22mpg round trip, from south Texas to south-central Arkansas. I haven't been on a lengthy road trip since getting the Toyos, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is at most a 1 -- 2mpg difference.

Need some guidance between E load and SL

I have E-load Open Country AT3's, and do mostly city driving with occasional off-roading. They do have some mild road noise, but it's nothing compared to other AT tires. Just a tad louder than stock. I mainly got the E-load for peace of mind when off-roading, that I'd have a stiffer sidewall...

Anyone jump from a TRD Pro to a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited with 3.6L V6

I currently have a 2017 TRD Off Road, and my brother has had three JKU Wranglers of varying trim levels, including the Rubicon. Yes, the Jeep, both stock and modded, will be more capable off road. It's just a better platform for that kind of driving, there's no getting around it. However...

2020 vs 2021 Pro FOX shocks, REAR

Same here. One time, I got locked out of a 1-2 shift, and the clutch slipped like a mofo. That's the moment I knew I had to get out of that car.

2020 vs 2021 Pro FOX shocks, REAR

This is nothing compared to all the documented issues (and denial thereof...) Ford has had with the MT-82 transmission in the Mustang since it was introduced for 2011. I'd much rather have a noisy shock than bent shift forks, broken shifters, missed shifts from lockout, clutch slipping, etc...
