I get 17 city and 20 highway in my '96 and I'm extremely pleased w/that mileage. Still, I ride a bike to work whenever I can now that prices have crept up. 2-3 mile bike ride...saves fuel, gets me in better shape, and is a great way to decompress after a day at work. Why drive if you can walk...

I averaged 20.7mpg on a highway trip 245mi round trip this weekend. Averaged 70-80mph (mostly 70+) and didn't stomp on it. Also calculated 17.5mpg city driving, but I drive very conservatively around town and don't punch it or accelerate super hard, seems pointless going light to light anyway...

How easy are the fuel filters to access on our 3rd gen trucks? I have a '96 and would like to replace the fuel filter but have yet to work on the truck since buying it recently.
