    XM Install Pics

I know I am bringing this back from the dead but I am curious how you got a bracket from Pro Fit. I went to the web link but it doesn't show a mount for the 2003 and up 4runners. Thanks

Here are the pics of my newly lifted 4runner!

Wow the 275's look great. I think I am going to have to go with them when I get my OME. I was worried that they wouldn't fit in the spare location, I know that Expat also has 275's but if I remember right they didn't fit as a spare. I see you have the V6 so you may have a different hitch than...

    New Lift/Tires finally!

K6UK looks good. What are you doing for a spare tire? Did you just keep the stock tire size?

    daystar lift and handling report

Glad the alignment helped. I hope that you don't run in to trouble later on down the line because of the bumpstops. They don't change the articulation other than limiting how far the tire goes into the wheel well. They only keep you from jamming your larger tires into the sheetmetal...

    Lift Choices

Well I guess the wait is still on because the Donahoe guy has never replied back saying they have come up with a rear coil option. I guess I will be going with OME because I really hate having to mix and match suspension parts for a lift. Maybe something will be done before I abuse my credit...

ARB bumper - test is done, it fit 2005

I read the other thread and it said they have found one. I hope that means they are going to start production real soon. I think we are getting the short end of the stick on aftermarket parts, but I am sure that is probably due to the fact many people will never take their 4runner on anything...

    daystar lift and handling report

I am not sure what you mean by the bump stops allowing a extra travel, they are designed to prevent that. The bump stops are what keep you from bottoming out, and also would stop the tires from rubbing the body because they stop the axle from moving up. Steering stops are on the front end...

Damn trail damage on my 03 4Runner.

I think it may be his flux capacitor. Man when those things go watch out.

Congrats on the lift. I am willing to bet that the issue of rubbing may be an alignment issue. Another thing to check might be your steering stops.

    Bead Lock Wheels

Most beadlock wheels are not street legal. If you really want the real thing to be street legal you are going to have to spend some money.

    Exhaust Jack ARB Bushranger X-Jack

I wouldn't want to be under the vehicle with just the bag supporting all of the weight, but I do know that some rescue units use this type of lift to move heavy equipment.

    Lift Choices

Well all of the info has been great keep it coming. I guess it will really come down to what Donahoe has to offer and how much money I have to throw at it when I get back as to which way I go.

    Exhaust Jack ARB Bushranger X-Jack

I can see it being great for sand/snow, but I am not so sure how usefull it would be on a solid surface where a more traditional jack might be faster. It is a really an interesting idea though.

RL do you still like the 265/70R17's, or do you wish you would have gone with another size? I must say that the Downey option looks good it will just depend on how long it will be before the rear setup is decided on.

    Lift Choices

I had decided to skip the spacer approach long ago. I just can't see putting spacers then deciding I want more later. I am trying to do this once. Luckily there have been people that have tried numerous combinations making it easier for the rest of us to learn from.
