Alright I'll give that a try. Does anybody know if the part the crank sensor picks up on is the same for a 01 engine?

The compression is great. Gonna check the o2 sensors this weekend. If the 02 sensors are reading zero volts, would that make it just dump fuel in it?

Timing looks dead on. All marks line up.

Spark plugs are new, won't start with any amount of throttle. Tried starting fluid and nothing. Where is the fuel pump relay? I've been looking and can't find a fuse or relay for it.

So now I'm getting no voltage to the o2 sensors. Do they have their own ground or fuse?

I've checked the plugs on the ecu a couple times. Checked the whole wiring for bad connections. I've swapped out the fuel regulator from the original engine and still the same thing.

I bought a 97 4runner with a blown engine, I replaced the engine with one from a 01 4runner. I was told that engines from 96 to 02 are the same. The problem I am having is it instantly floods out, so bad that gas is dripping out where the exhaust meets before the converter. It doesn't even give...
