I just called Falken - tech told me Red Dots on OE wheels to be mounted on the low spot for the rim - if the spot is not marked on rim - then mount the yellow dot on the valve stems. Awesome - the tire shop mounted mine with the Red Dots on all the valve stems.....

All my steering issues started as soon as I lifted it - sigh - you would think I learned my lesson lifting Jeeps over the years. I can never leave good enough alone. Looking forward to your results post steering rack bushings. The LBJ were replaced at 30K per the recall - wonder if 130K later...

i went out and checked mine - they mounted the red dots where the valve stems are - the yellow dots are on the tires as well. first tire i have ever purchased that has colored dots on them :shrug:

Subscribed - i have a steering wheel shimmy above 50 that cuts out around 70 - started about a 1K miles after installing the Falkens (same size). Rotated the tires when i hit 5K of use, shimmy still there. Look forward to your results when you install the new gear.

Used a stripped lugnut removal socket - out with the 4 original locking lugnuts - nobody is stealing my 15 year old wheels! Of course this is after i paid McGaard the 12 bucks to send me a replacement key: the replacement stripped out at the first sign of tension when trying to break the lugnut...

Just measured mine sitting out level in the parking lot: 21" in the front and 22" in the rear. Measured just like you stated. Running 881s/906s with Tundra 5100s front and rear, no trim packs; 265/75/16 tires. Stock bumpers - maybe 20lbs of basic hand tools in the back. Stance and ride is just...

I think you will enjoy the 881/906 coils - especially if you tow anything else in the future. Make sure and have a big cup of Patience before you dig into the front end - I can only imagine how bad your bolts might be after living in MI.

Finally got the new to me 4Runner where I want her: OME Coils and Bilstein Shocks, I've run that combo on my last few Jeeps and have no complaints. Also got the new Falkens installed today :thumb:
