Solid State Not having seen the circuit, I assume the clicking noise is the flasher relay. One would think you could find a solid state electronic flasher and wire it in place of the relay.

Tekonsha Finally installed the Tekonsha P3 brake controller today.

Weighed in today Took the 4Runner into work today and weighed it on the scales. It weighed in @ 4892 lbs total, 2482 front, 2410 rear. Full fluids, no driver or passengers.

Firestone Coil Rites Installed the Firestone Coil Rites on our 5th gen with my 11 year old son today. Awesome day.

Toyota (nor anyone that I have found to date) seem to offer a version of this type of WD receiver for the 5th gen 4Runner. Also, this hitch requires some "modification" in order to install.

extra length I believe you should have an extra 5 or so inches already built into your existing harness. Cut the tape and peel back the expando sleeve. They typically double back the harness in that area and give you a few extra inches. Just need to remount the plug. Don't know if that's enough...

Hitch Receiver I've been stalking long enough now. Installed a Lexus GX 460 WD receiver on my 5th gen today.
