Alright, touche. I've had my 2004 since it was new and I'm only on my second set of new tires. So, third set total. And I just bought those two days ago.

A wider stance...improvement in looks. My opinion. Besides that, rubbing on a bigger tire without spacers will not improve. It will just change the location of the rubbing. Possibly to the point where I couldn't even drive with the tires on.

Here are the pics. BFG Rugged Terrains They're decently aggressive... This is with 1.5" All Pro spacers. They don't stick out as much as I thought they would with the spacers. I think it's the bevel in the tire. I'm not sure if they measure the width at the widest point or if...

Thanks for the info, guys. I ended up just removing my mud flaps. I expected to see an open body cavity when I did, but it's still all covered. I think the open body cavity may be on the back. Also, instead of moving the liner forward in the front, I just cut the offending rubbing parts. I...

I don't understand. What do you mean check the torque at 80? Since the specs were 85 to 90, I actually put them on yesterday (with thread locker) at 88. Do you mean when I go to check the torque, check it at 80? I shouldn't have to check the torque again until next weekend or so, right?

I just got new tires this morning. At full lock, I get rubbing on the front liner and on the back part of the front mud flap. I have All-Pro 1.5" spacers installed. It may have been a dumb idea to get the 70's. I honestly didn't think I'd have any rubbing. I'm relatively inexperienced. I...

Got the Vibra-Tite, spacers, and wheels back on. Now I'm off to get some new tires. Thanks for the Vibra-Tite suggestion. I feel better about it now. Especially considering the spacers were still pretty solid on there after 250 miles.
