Being down south for the last 2 years I haven't seen much rear bumper rust issues. Guess thats why there are so many bumper replacements for sale on ebay, LOL!!!!

Yeah, automatic. Its my wife's DD for now. We'll be trading that in somewheres around Sep-Oct08 for a Audi S4.

No drilling. Looking from the under the front bumper there are 2 pre-drilled holes already in the bumper. Only had to drill through the plastic cover on the top of the bumper. The best thing? No aligning issues since they are toyota pre-drilled holes. Thanks for the props bro!!!!

You know I was thinking the same thing. Even if it was a functional hood scoop it would be worthless facing the windshield, lol!!!!

You could also try ebay. But yeah, the 3rd gens rear bumper is in 3 pieces.

I'm wondering what kind of alternator he is running to keep up with all the voltage he is putting out.

I had a muffler shop install a dynomax turbo muffler on mine with a silverline tip and it sounds and looks awesome. Loving it so far. Its not overbearing and gives the T4R the grunt sound when you stomp on it that it deserves. It all depends on what sound you want. Good luck with your decision.

Theres always a pivot bolt on these set-ups. I changed all my belts out a few months ago. If I remember right, its the top bolt that is the pivot bolt and that allows the alternator to move.

I know these are old but my T4R hasn't changed much on the exterior, most changes since May have been interior items, well except for the clear front bumper blinker lenses. Let me know what my fellow T4R brothers think. ~original[/IMG] ~original[/IMG] ~original[/IMG] ~original[/IMG]...
