You also can use a group 31, 34 or 35 size battery. Here is mine a group 35 and I also have a large marine group of this series for my on board secondary. It all depends on what you will use the battery for, just basic battery use 24 is fine. Use battery to run a fridge or overlanding go bigger.

Those look nice and aggressive, will they fit without rubbing the BMC or inner fender? with 285 already need BMC and trimming.

I doubt changing any coils will fix the rubbing and you already did the casters setting so I would say your best option is a BMC. I ran 285's for years with no rubbing running with a 0 offset wheel but once I changed over to a -10 offset it rub at the same area at full turns so I had a SPC...
