From what ive read on other forums the modulator controls the flow in and out of the egr valve, and if it goes bad the modulator may not send the correct amount of vacuum to the egr, causing either to much flow throught the egr or not enough flow through the egr. i hope that made sense.

I don`t usually like camo paint jobs, but i really like this one.

I replaced my fading inner door handles with chrome ones, and it looks good, and the nice thing about the chrome is that they won`t fade.

How much it costs is a matter of how much you want to spend, if it were my 4Runner i would replace the springs and shocks because there almost 20 yrs old. The cost will depend on the quality of the parts you buy. (DON`T BUY CHEAP PARTS, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR).

Your positive battery cable conects to the starter (atleast it does on my truck) and can be replaced, just get a new one and follow it from the battery to the other end and unbolt it and install the new one in its place.

Sea foam is some good stuff, but if your engine has alot of carbon build up, you might want to run some more sea foam through it in about a week or so, also pour some in your gas tank and it will help clean your injectors.

You will need to remove the glove box and part of the heater duct, there is a nut up under there that needs to be removed, then you will need to remove the heater vent by the passenger door (this can be a pain in the ass) and there is a bolt behind the vent. after that the dash pad will come off.

The only way to do it right is to remove the intake and give it a good cleaning. its almost impossible to clean the intake completely with it on the engine.

You can get a new rear window motor from Rock Auto for 85 dollars.

Have you checked the thermostat, it could be stuck open or it might not be there at all.

I just did this mod on my 84 4Runner, remove the black box as mentioned above and take it a part, you will see a small coil that makes the noise, just bend the piece that vibrates a way from the coil and that will kill the noise when the door is open.
