Is it toast or does it just need fresh grease and the contacts cleaned? I don't have much hands on experience with Elocker issues but I know there is alot of info out there about rebuilding the actuators.
I thought some of you guys might be interested in this 5VZ rear main seal tool.5VZ FE engine rear main seal installer

I've got my transmission out for rebuild and wanted to replace the rear main seal. I like having the right tools for the job and a rear main seal is not...
I recently did an OEM rack and ignored the poly bushing suggestions. Everything seems good.. so far. My steering wheel seems off, just a little to the right but I assume that is just my alignment guy not centering the wheel perfectly and only cosmetic. Hopefully if poly bushings are needed they...
Id solid axle swap the 4runner. Not interested in running 35"+ tires on IFS. Solid axle will perform better and have the strength/reliability for the bigger tires.
My rockers are rusting from the inside. I assume from the sunroof drains (I hate sunroofs). I'm doing a ton of maintenance work on it right now. This summer I plan to enjoy it and In the fall I'll probably cut out the rockers and weld in some clean ones from the junk yard. So mines not really...
No takers on my post above?
Can anyone Confirm That a j shift transfer case from a v6 automatic will work fine on my r150F manual? A little research looks like it might be the same other than needing to swap my shifter to the auto case. Anyone done this?
Can anyone tell me if it's normal for the rear output flange on the Tcase to have a little in/out play? It takes a little muscle but I can get a 1/16" or so in/out movement. If I push/pull hard I can get a little clunk.

That's what I was hoping.
If they had to be replaced Id go OEM for sure.
This thing is a 150k mile 5 speed that appears to have received very little maintenance. I've spent around $3500+ on OEM parts over the last year and do to a vibration I cant track down, I've gotten almost no use out...
Changing spark plugs and wires on new to me 2000 4runner v6.
The coil packs are corroded where the plug wires attach.
Is this common? Should I clean them up with contact cleaner and sand paper and call it good?

Thanks. So chalk test and above 22 psi will get me where I need to be.
What about low range trail stuff. Can I treat the E tire like a C and air down to 8-10 psi ?
Can I get in on this too? I've been wondering about tire pressure also.
2000 sr5 v6 5speed. No extra weight.

I've never owned E rated tires before and C load isn't offered in this size.
currently running 35psi front and 30 rear.
I dont think it will hurt anything in there. The oil pickup has a screen on it.
I dropped the cap off a bottle of gear oil into a 304 and it eventually found it's way to the drain hole during an oil change.
