man that sucks. i would now try the calibration and see if that works. if that doesn't work you could always try what darwalk did and replace brake light switch
im glad you figured it out. i tried that method before the calibration and it would come back on everytime i went over a bump or up my driveway. disconneting the battery resets the ecu so im glad it worked. maybe your gas cap was loose, that causes the trac and vsc lights to turn on also.

i had a check engine light on also. it was a bad o2 senser in bank 2. replaced sensor and the vsc and trac was still on. i did a zero point calibration and now its fixed. when you calibrate it, it will restore the yaw rate sensor back to zero.
