You need to change the area on the destination screen to your state. That should take care of the registration problem.

Also, the right-angle end of the lan cable should be plugged into the sirius module and the straight end into the hu. I'm not sure if it matters though.

Yes I have the AVN2454 as well. I would check the yellow battery wire and ground on the Sirius module. It sounds like it is not powering on. The lan cable definately belongs on the out port. You could try unplugging your hu and then reinstalling the 1.4 DVD and see if it loads the update...

Yes it is compatible. I have only had trouble trying to use the disc from the AVN5500.
