I believe the axle on one side of the differential is separated in to two pieces. There is a spline that can slide over the two axle pieces effectively either locking the axle up or allowing the two pieces to rotate independently. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I just received a press release email from ARB. Looks like these are going to be available shortly if they are not already. They don't mention the 4Runner as a supported platform but they do reference the FJ so they should work.

The KM2 would have poor wet traction based on their design. However, if you get them siped their wet traction will improve to at least "good". Siping KM2 is pretty much a requirement if you drive in wet/snow.

Another thumbs up for CC on steep descents. It's not just the feathering of the brakes it's that it's doing it independently for each wheel which a driver cannot do.

I haven't sealed up the drain hole yet. I figure any rain I suck up right now is going to precipitate out of the air flow and drain out of the drain hole. I figure once the drain hole is sealed the water will still precipitate out of the air stream but then will collect in the box. That could...

The FTS snorkel doesn't seem to have the same water shedding setup as the safari snorkel. Can you independently purchase a better snorkel head? Could you even suck down enough rain water that it would matter?

Did you seal the drain hole in the bottom of the air box? I can't decide if it makes sense and/or is really needed.

Removing those square liner clips is a serious pain in the butt. Is there a trick to it?
