My thoughts are this wouldn't work because those buttons only work when the keyless entry fob is in proximity of the vehicle. I think the whole system of the keyless entry works together, I don't think one part would work without the other.

I going to start by saying that I'm not very familiar with ABS systems but the sound you are hearing may be the ABS pump. I would do a fluid flush with new fluid and go from there.

Glad it worked out for you. As i said, mine was the same symptoms and the fix was as you said, night and day difference. I used TB cleaner and a bristle brush to help it along. Cheers.

Sounds like the Idle Air Control Valve needs cleaned. same symptoms as mine last winter.

I'm looking to replace my shocks with tundra 5100 but I'm not looking for any real lift, maybe a little in the front. Can I use the original springs front and rear. which perch should I put the springs on for the front. will the shocks bottom out on the rear with no lift.

My parents 01' T4R had mice chew up 2 of the injector wires and they spliced them back together. happens even in warm climates. they like that stuff.

Use the DISP button on steering wheel to cycle through until you see Hold button to change settings. you can make all the changes that you want once in that menu.
