You use the Apple lightning cord. I have CarPlay and haven't really been too impressed, maybe used it twice since I've had it installed. I guess I just prefer Bluetooth, but the headunits are nice.. so its a nice bonus

At what temperature should you start to be concerned when towing?

Nice... a good bit cheaper than the ScanGauge as well. Being lazy and not wanting to research too much into it, are there any features the UltraGauge can't do that the ScanGauge can do that makes it not worth the cheaper price?

If you just throw in HID's into the stock projectors they will blind oncoming traffic and not really throw the beam pattern correctly. You can modify the "squirrel finders" inside the projector, but at that point you might as well do the retrofit. I'm happy with the Quick-Retro from TRS.

Kind of figured it was since the headlights changed... bummer that thing is just sitting around!

welp figured I'd update this. If you are stubborn and lazy like me, you can definitely install airbags w/o removing the rear springs. Grabbed a mini hacksaw blade (just the blade) and was able to cut the bump stops when the suspension was drooped. The airbags when squished easily fit inside...

thanks guys... I'll just pull the rear spring out and stop being lazy. I was being super lazy and thinking about taking it to a shop close by my job... until they quoted me $300 to install. I just laughed and said no thanks :)

Awesome timing on this -- and thanks for posting. Will be doing the same with my FJ's and 5100's. Was tired of searching through that big thread to see what the .85 height would look like :)

Welp I double checked -- my rear defrost light wasn't coming on, but I think I fixed it by rolling the back window down and then back up. Luckily there was a light mist on my drive home tonight and I was able to verify that the defrost function is working + the light comes on.

Weird... Having the same problems as well, but my front defrost light isn't coming on, but seems to be working. Haven't tried the rear defrost yet, but I'll test that on my way home. I just figured some of the bulbs got burnt out on the climate control.
