Help All of the sudden the vehicle has become hard to shift. I have to wiggle between 4 and D to get the green light to come on in a gear on the dash. It feels vague, like not sure exactly where the gear is and stiff to move. Once in gear it seems to work fine. Planning to do steps outlined...

Ed C are you saying if the DRLs are LED? I think mine already were, and I added LED turn signals. my DRLs never have had issues, just the turn signals since I converted to LED. I am thinking of using a potentiometer to try and determine the best resistance... my son the electrical engineer...

Removed my headliner and rear lift gate inner cover tracking down a water leak that made rear carpets wet and stinky, and I think I forgot to reconnect a wire to the rear wiper motor... Can anyone confirm if there is wiring to that motor that is buried between the headliner and the roof?

Remove XREAS Just did the same on my 03 with 175k miles because the back shocks were leaking. I was worried about the impact...I honestly cannot tell the difference. Bob

With engine running I measure 14.2V at the battery. With Engine off 12.8... while engine was running and 14.2V, the battery light is on! What is going on? bad ground? Thanks for the help guys

Powder Coat I powder coated my factory wheels in Cincinnati, got all 5 done for $400. Took a couple 2-3 days. They look great and have held up well so far after 1.5 years no issues. There might be an issue with chrome wheels...not sure you can powder coat over that or something...

My 03 limited with JBL sound system started changing the radio station when I back out of my driveway and turn the wheel...Thought maybe I hit a button on the wheel but it has done it several times and this morning I was careful to make sure I stayed away from the buttons on the steering...

I think you can look at both sides of the rotor to see if both are shiny. You can also tell just looking at the pad thickness on each side... frozen one does not wear... I had pass side freeze and I think it led to a bearing failure on that side... circumstantial evidence, but wonder if others...

Napa $65 per axle... hardest part is loosening the axle bolt, you will need a breaker bar. I shoved a giant screwdriver into the slots in the rotor through the caliper so did not need someone stomping on the breaks. you need a good size pry bar to pop the axle out at the tranny - don't pull on...

It wasn't the CV's... vibration seems to be getting more frequent. Picking up a bearing... need to figure out which one.

Having said that, NAPA has the axles w/ CV for $65, so I decided to replace them anyway (~150k miles). My brother has a 2004 and recommended replacing wheel bearings while in there... he did CV's then had to go back for bearing replacement. Guess I will check price on those too...but it would...
