My 06 with JBL Aux input broke.
Junk yard find of newer AUX input with USB input found for $20.
Problem is:
1) electrical connectors are different
2) I don't know where to find an adapter or how to make it work.
Any electrical advice or other option for getting a working AUX input is...
My apologies for being wiring noob, but since the AUX ports go bad, can't I just bypass it through soldering a 3.5 cord to the wires leading to the bad input?
I'm sick of it cutting in and out, and when I tried to repair the connection, I broke the plastic retaining clip. Stealership wants over...
I own a 2006 v6 2wd Sport 4th gen.
After swapping out 6 month old battery, battery light was still on so I swapped Alternator & Serpentine belt from NAPA. Battery light is out & everything seems to be working swimmingly 4 days later.
However, now I hear a hum at low rpms.
